What’s on in July?
Hello friends of The Plough!
Summer is well and truly here at The Plough. We’ve got plenty lined up to keep you entertained ... from supper clubs and theatre shows, to live music, a classics show, quiz night fun, and the World Cup.
Here’s what’s coming up…
SUPPER CLUB: THE SUMMER BANQUET -
Saturday 25th July, in the garden at The Plough
This is the one to book. Our Supper Club returns with a Summer Banquet in the garden. Long tables dressed and ready under the marquee, dried flowers down the runner, the garden bar pouring, and an evening that stretches out the way July evenings should.
A banquet works because everyone sits together. You arrive as a table of two and leave knowing the table of eight. That is the point of it, and it is why these evenings at The Plough get talked about for weeks afterwards.
Seats at a banquet table go quickly, and this one will. Booking is advised.

Living Theatre: Folk Tales for Curious Minds - Sunday 12th July, shows at 1pm and 4pm
Living Theatre return after their brilliant Shakespeare evening in June, and this time it is one for the whole family. Folk tales, told properly,
outdoors at the pub.
There are two performances, at 1pm and at 4pm, so you can pick the one that fits around lunch, naps or football.
Bring the kids, bring a blanket, and stay on afterwards. The garden does the rest.

Craft and Sip - Wednesday 22nd July from 7pm
A relaxed, free to join creative evening. Whether you are a seasoned crafter or just curious to try something new, come along, unwind, get hands on, and meet some great people.
Bring whatever craft you love. Knitting, crochet, sketching, scrapbooking, anything goes. For enquiries, questions or bookings, email info@theploughkingswalden.com.
Classics @ The Plough - Thursday 30th July from 5pm
Our monthly classic car evening rolls on, last Thursday of the month through to September. No entry fee, no booking, all classic vehicles welcome.
Bring your own classic and park it up, or just come and wander the line with a cold pint in hand. Come for the cars, stay for the pint.
Big Summer Outdoor Quiz - Tuesday 28th July from 7:30pm
The monthly quiz goes outside for summer. Same brains, same bragging rights, better setting. Round up your sharpest friends and claim a table in the garden while the evenings are long.
£5 entry per person, teams of up to six, cash prizes for the top three teams. Book your table at info@theploughkingswalden.com because spaces go fast, and the smug teams book early.
