With longer days and a hint of summer in the air, May is shaping up to be a lively one here at The Plough. We’ve got plenty lined up to keep you entertained – from fish & chips evenings and a BBQ, to live music, a cocktail workshop, quiz night fun, and our ever-popular Sunday Roast.
Here’s what’s coming up…
Fish & Chips - Friday 1st of May
We’re starting the month the right way at The Plough with our much-loved Fish & Chips night on Fri 1st from 5pm.
LITFEST - Saturday 2nd of May
A full afternoon of live music and great atmosphere! BBQ food from 2–6pm, serving up smoky favourites alongside the music.
Quiz Night - Tuesday 12th of May
Cash prizes & big laughs!
Gather your team (up to 6 people), £2 entry per person
Prizes for 1st, 2nd & 3rd place. Spaces fill up fast, so book ahead: 8pm
Live Music - Wednesday 13th of May
Make your Wednesday evening one to remember. From 6pm, enjoy the rich, soulful sounds of Lawrence Hill performing live while you settle in with a freshly baked pizza straight from the kitchen.
Cocktail Masterclass - Saturday 16th of May
Shake things up at our Cocktail Masterclass! Learn how to mix, muddle, and make your favourite drinks with plenty of laughs along the way. For just £5 per person, you’ll get one cocktail included and a fun-filled experience perfect for friends, dates, or anyone who loves a good time. Cheers to that!
Craft & Sip - Wednesday 20th of May
A relaxed, free-to-join evening designed for unwinding and getting hands-on. Whether you’re a seasoned crafter or just curious to try something new, it’s the perfect opportunity to enjoy a laid-back atmosphere, meet new people, and let your creativity flow.
Bank Holiday Fun - Sunday 24th of May
Celebrate the Bank Holiday in style at The Plough on Sun 24th, with a full day of music, food, and great company. From morning through to evening, enjoy a vibrant atmosphere filled with live sounds and freshly prepared food, making it the perfect backdrop for a long weekend get-together.
Classics @ The Plough - Thursday 28th of May
A relaxed evening celebrating timeless motoring with a fantastic line-up of classic cars on display.
Fish & Chips - Friday 29th of May
We’re ending the month the right way at The Plough with our much-loved Fish & Chips night from 5pm.
Sunday Roast - Sunday 31st of May
Finish the month on a high note with a traditional Sunday Roast at The Plough, served from 12–3:30pm. Expect hearty portions, classic trimmings, and a relaxed Sunday atmosphere that’s perfect for slowing down and enjoying good food with good company.
